KELLER, Amanda Wilkinson

Amanda Virginia Keller, daughter of Daniel and Louisa Wilkinson was born at Cincinnati, Ohio Sept 25, 1860. She was the 7th child among 8 brothers and sisters; George, William, Albert, Laura Wilkinson Bowman, Kathryn Wilkinson Bowman, Martha Wilkinson Bowman and Abbie Wilkinson Alward. She moved with her parents near Wallace, Ind where she spent the greater part of her life. She was united in marriage to Manson Keller Jan 14, 1882. To this union were born six sons; Daniel; Frank; Ira; Guy; Roscoe and Hurley. At age 18 she became a member of the Wallace Christian Church. She was a devoted wife and mother, she gave the best of her life in serving her family and friends, and faithfully kept up her interests in the church. She later removed her church membership to the Byron Christian Church. The survivors are the husband, six sons; 24 grandchildren ; one great grandchild, 3 sisters and one brother. These with many other relatives and friends have sustained a great loss. We will miss this departed one but are comforted int he words "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him."
